Addison Rae‘s parents are fighting in court.

Following the news of Monty Lopez‘s arrest on an alleged sex crime charge, there are new details about her mother’s latest court filing.

Addison‘s mom, Sheri Easterling, has filed for sole custody of the former couple’s 12-year-old son as part of her divorce case, TMZ reports.

In her filing, Sheri is asking the court to name her as the primary caretaker and limit Monty to supervised visits.

Monty was arrested in July of 2025 and charged with felony obscenity, listed as a sex crime. He has pled not guilty.

The documents outline alleged abuse incidents in the marriage over the years, including Monty using degrading and foul language against her in 2005, which led to an apparent incident where he grabbed her around the neck, violently pushed her down onto a bed, and squeezed her neck with his hands while saying: “You stupid fucking b–ch.’”

Sheri also claims that once in 2018, Monty became angry when she turned down his sexual advances and said she was “a b–ch for not wanting to have sex with him and that she ‘had to, it was her duty.’”

She also alleges Monty once slapped Addison across the face with an open hand for talking back to him in 2008, among several other allegations outlined in the court documents.

The ex-couple share three kids: Addison, Enzo and Lucas. The former couple got married in 2002 before divorcing, reuniting and remarrying in 2017 before their split again in 2022.
