• Interview With the Vampire, which recently got done with its third season titled The Vampire Lestat, was renewed by AMC for a fourth season on July 24. The next chapter will carry yet another new title, Queen of the Damned.
• House of David was among the month’s early renewal announcements. Prime Video renewed the Biblical drama for Season 3 on July 10.
• Love Island: Beyond the Villa followed close behind. Peacock picked up the reality spinoff for a third season on July 12, with new episodes set for 2027.
• Sullivan’s Crossing also got renewed. The CW confirmed Season 5 on July 16 after the Canadian drama already landed a renewal at CTV.
• Beauty in Black on Netflix renewed for Season 4 on July 23, reversing an earlier announcement that Season 3 would be its last.
• President Curtis got an early vote of confidence. Adult Swim renewed the animated series for Season 2 on July 24, ahead of its own series debut.
• Adventure Time: Side Quests also picked up a second season. Hulu and Disney+ confirmed the renewal on July 25.
• Art Detectives rounded out the scripted renewals. Acorn TV brought back the British mystery series for Season 2 on July 28.
• Scrambled Up also got a second season in syndication, adding another unscripted title to July’s tally.
• American Idol scored a milestone renewal on the unscripted side. ABC confirmed Season 25 on July 29, which is the singing competition’s 10th season on the network since its 2018 reboot.
• The Challenge closed out the month with a twist. Rather than a standard renewal, the long-running competition series is moving from MTV to Paramount+ for Season 42, titled The Challenge: Cutthroat.
