Anne Hathaway is continuing to promote The Devil Wears Prada 2 and clearing up some misconceptions regarding the casting of models in the movie. The 43-year-old Oscar winner stopped by Good Morning America on Monday (April 27) in New York. She wore a Michael Kors look for the press outing, hailing from the label’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection. It included a coordinated jack with long sleeves and lapels paired with a flowing skirt with a black-and-white checkered print, per WWD. Anne accessorized with dark pointed-toe pumps, a thick leather belt, sheer black tights, and oversized sunglasses. Keep reading to find out more… While on GMA, she talked about asking the casting team on The Devil Wears Prada 2 film to include a more diverse range of models, which led to some people believing she got a bunch of models fired who had already been hired. “It was this quick thing that happened on set, and now it’s become a much bigger story,” she said. “Actually, I do want to mention some misinformation getting out there right now that people were fired because of the size inclusivity, and that just didn’t happen.” She continued, “Nobody lost their jobs. In fact, it created more jobs. It was just about making sure that so many different body types saw themselves in a moment in the script.” While she didn’t want to spoil details about the scene, she did say it goes along with Lady Gaga‘s song for the film. “Isn’t it better when you see so many different types of bodies up there with that?” she added.
