Apple TV has released a new trailer for the second season of a fantasy TV show featuring Ariel Winter. The animated show also features a popular Saturday Night Live alum. The upcoming season will feature six episodes that continue the story from Season 1 events and are based on Michael Buckley‘s books.

The official synopsis reads, “One year after their parents’ mysterious disappearance, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue uncovering the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries.”

What do we see in The Sisters Grimm Season 2 trailer with Ariel Winter?

The Sisters Grimm trailer opens with Relda, voiced by SNL star Laraine Newman, calling out to Sabrina that it is “time for school.” It cuts to Sabrina sitting outside a school’s office with Relda and her younger sister, Daphne. Sabrina asks, “Why are we here? We should be finding our parents,” who have mysteriously disappeared.

As Relda’s voice in the background says, “Clues exist where we least expect them,” Sabrina and Daphne encounter strange occurrences at the school. They encounter a Scarlet Hand symbol, which, according to Relda, was “just the beginning.”

Teaming up with Puck, Daphne, Relda, and a magical weapon provided by Charming, Sabrina dives deeper into the mysterious events around the school, bringing her one step closer to finding her parents.

Season 1 premiered on Apple TV on October 3, 2025. The season was well received by critics and currently holds a 100% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes. Alongside Newman and Winter, Abubakar Salim, Billy Harris, Leah Newman, and Harry Trevaldwyn will reprise their voice roles as Sabrina, Daphne, Charming, Puck, and Mirror, respectively.

The series is developed by Emmy Award nominee Amy Higgins, who also serves as a showrunner. Erica Rothschild serves as the show’s producer with award-winning studio Titmouse. Sage Cotugno is the supervising director. Executive producers include Higgins, Buckley, Elliot Blake, Philip Alberstat, Steven Amato, and Theresa Park, among others.

Season 2 of The Sisters Grimm will premiere on Apple TV on Friday, October 2, 2026.
