The INVEST Pitch Perfect contest is the heart of our annual boutique healthcare investor conference in Chicago, scheduled for May 20 and 21 at the Willis Tower in Chicago. The deadline for submissions is February 21.

Investment professionals will review applications, and selections will be announced starting in April 2025. Finalists present their products and services to a group of investor judges who ask entrepreneurs questions after they conclude their initial pitch.

We’re looking for applications from biopharma startups focused on infectious diseases, medtech/diagnostics startups supporting chronic disease management, and health tech startups seeking to improve care navigation and coordination and those that are developing AI tech.

Here are the criteria for the contest:

Startups that have been finalists and pitched at any INVEST event in the past 12 months are not eligible to apply.

Startups should apply to only one track.

Startups must be registered for the conference in order to participate in the pitch contest. The startup rate is $695 and a code will be sent to you if you are selected to pitch.

Each track will include six finalists.

Eligible startups are no more than five years old, except for biopharma/device and diagnostic startups, which can be up to 10 years old.
