Céline Dion just took her on-stage looks to new heights.
On one of the last of her 2026 residency dates, Dion dazzled in couture that nodded to her1997 Oscars red carpet look.
The look was custom Chanel by Matthieu Blazy, featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline with a corset structured top. The waist nipped in as the hips flared out and finished into a silk skirt with a high slit down the front.
The gown was covered in glass crystal rhinestones, seed beads, and glass beads — tightly packed at the top and tapering off at her hips as if stars falling from the night sky.
According to Vogue, the gown featured 6,000 jewels and 5,000 beads, requiring 1,380 hours of work from the in-house couturiers.
The neckline also boasted navy raffia trim that was constructed with a tinsel-like texture.
Dion, 58, even re-imagined her necklace, wearing Chanel’s diamond and white gold Fil de Comète necklace, featuring a shooting star design left open at the front.
The re-created comet necklace featured a whopping 1,080 diamonds that totaled more than 67 carats.
In 1997, Dion sported a similar Karl Lagerfeld-designed by Chanel number, though the slinky dress featured a plunging neckline.
It was that night back in 1997 that Dion made history as the first artist to perform not one, but two songs during the course of the awards show. She had prepared “Because You Loved Me,” but pulled last-minute double duty when Natalie Cole fell sick.
Dion has two final performances ahead of her this weekend — Friday and Saturday night — before going on hiatus until May.
