Finding Her Edge is returning for season two and production has officially started!

Netflix shared the exciting news that filming has begun on Wednesday (September 2), and more casting updates have been revealed.

“FINDING HER EDGE cast is back on the ice! Season 2 is now in production!” Netflix shared on Instagram, along with a first-look photo.

What is Finding Her Edge about?

The series follows the three Russo sisters, heirs to a struggling figure skating dynasty. As middle sister, seventeen-year-old Adriana trains for the World Championships with new partner Brayden, while still harbouring feelings for her first love and former partner, Freddie. Her life becomes complicated when she and Brayden pretend to be a couple off the ice so they can land a sponsorship to keep the financially struggling Russo rink afloat.

Finding Her Edge is, of course, based on the book of the same name by Jennifer Iacopelli.

“The world fell in love with our figure skaters in Season 1, and it’s a privilege to be able to continue their character arcs as they swap Russo Rink for Voltage Skating Academy with new loves, new rivalries, and new competitions,” showrunner and executive producer Jeff Norton shared in a statement via Tudum. “Get ready for a seriously swoonworthy, soapy romantic rollercoaster as Adriana Russo navigates life after winning Worlds.”

Who is in the season two cast?

With production now underway in Southern Ontario through December, we have several updates on which stars are reprising their roles and who is joining the cast, including a popular singer and a Heated Rivalry actor!
