Steve Burton found his happily ever after.
The General Hospital star married Michelle Lundstrom in an intimate ceremony in Laguna Beach May 17, People reported. The couple's nuptials come three years after Steve divorced his wife of 23 years Sheree Gustin, with whom he shares three children Makena, 21, Jack, 19, and Brooklyn, 10.
"This day isn’t just about a ceremony," Steve told People in an interview published tk date. "It’s the beginning of forever with the love of my life."
The actor and Michelle—who met on social media and started dating in early 2024—said "I do" in front of immediate family before celebrating their love at a 45-person reception at the Montage Laguna Beach.
The Days of Our Lives alum called it a "dream-like celebration filled with so much love" and noted that being surrounded by people "who have always been there" for the couple was "more meaningful than words can express."
The 54-year-old gushed, "I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, growing together each day in faith and love."
"Honestly, I've never felt so loved and cared for in my entire life," he went on. "I'm incredibly grateful to have her by my side. She is the most amazing, beautiful, and selfless woman I've ever known. I love her so much."
Michelle, who is a chef and content creator who appeared on season two of Netflix's Barbeque Showdown, was equally as effusive, sharing that she's "never felt so safe and loved."

The couple—whose five combined children appeared in their wedding party alongside General Hospital stars Jonathan Jackson and his wife Lisa Vultaggio—got hitched just four months after Steve popped the question because, as Michelle explained, "We didn’t want to wait to become husband and wife."

Steve's new marriage comes three years after he announced his separation from Sheree, who he said had become pregnant with someone else's baby at the time of their split.
"I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated," he wrote on his Instagram Stories in May 2022. "She recently announced that she's expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine."
"We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids," Steve, who finalized his divorce from Sheree in December 2023, added at the time. "We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve."
