Andrew Walker and Odette Annable are ready for the world to see their highly-anticipated Hallmark Channel movie, Kentucky Roses!

The actors stopped by NBC New York Live to chat about the film on Wednesday (April 15) in New York City.

Andrew and Odette are on the third day of their NYC press tour. They’ve already made stops to The Kelly Clarkson Show, airing next week, and online outlets like People and Decider.

Kentucky Roses, which takes place at Churchill Downs, will air on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, May 2 at 8:00pm ET/PT, right after the conclusion of the 2026 Kentucky Derby.

Here is the film’s synopsis: “A greenhouse worker and the son of Churchill Downs’ CEO form an unlikely pair, coming together to save the Kentucky Derby rose blanket and uncovering a generational love story along the way.”

While Andrew is a Hallmark Channel veteran with dozens of films on his resume, this will actually be Odette‘s debut with the network!

“It’s like a warm cup of hot chocolate,” Odette told NBC about joining Hallmark. “It’s so wonderful. I got very lucky being able to do my first one with Andrew. He’s such a pro and made me feel so comfortable right away. It’s such a well-oiled machine. We had a really, really great time.”
