Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr.’s life behind bars is looking a lot different from the reality TV world he’s used to.

The 15-year-old — who is the son of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alums Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann — is following a rigid daily routine while locked up at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, Page Six has learned.

“Youth at our detention centers follow a daily schedule that provides structure, accountability, education and chances for positive growth,” Glenn Allen, Director of Communications for the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, exclusively told Page Six in a statement.

“While schedules may vary by facility, programming needs, and security, each day is arranged to maintain a safe, structured environment that supports education and rehabilitation.”

According to Allen, a “typical day” for youth detainees like KJ begins with mandatory morning hygiene, cleaning his room and eating breakfast, followed by an educational lesson.

“After lunch, they continue with classroom instruction in the afternoon,” he added. “The rest of the day usually includes recreation, dinner and individual/group counseling sessions that focus on treatment, life skills, behavior or personal development [before ending] the evening with personal hygiene and preparing for bedtime.”

While tightly structured, the schedule also leaves room for visitation, worship services, mentoring, music and creative arts, life-skills sessions and group counseling. Some days will also include barber services, we’re told, while others include wellness programming, mentoring or skill-streaming sessions.

Per the facility’s menu, KJ’s breakfast options range from cinnamon toast, a filled pastry, a hard-boiled egg and yogurt or scrambled eggs with pancakes and bacon.

Lunch options typically rotate between chili dogs, BBQ riblet sandwiches, chicken burritos, chicken tender salads, hamburgers, pizza and breaded chicken sandwiches.

Meanwhile, dinner entrees, per the menu, include Sriracha chicken with spring rolls, Salisbury steak with gravy, lemon-pepper wings, chicken drumsticks, baked rotini and country-fried steak, followed by desserts like cookies, cake, brownies, gelatin with fruit and ice cream.

As Page Six previously reported, KJ has been in custody since Aug. 17 following his arrest for aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery. A hearing is scheduled for Sept. 1.

According to court docs filed in Fulton County Juvenile Court and obtained by Page Six last week, a female classmate accused KJ of assaulting her in the Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, on April 23. Police have since launched an investigation. 

KJ vehemently denied the allegations in a statement issued through his attorney, Jason Sheffield, last week, who urged the public not to prejudge the case.

“The fact that he’s been arrested and is being held without bond is a tragedy. He is not only presumed innocent, but is, in fact, innocent,” the statement read in part. “I’m asking the public not to presume the truth of these allegations and to give the families on both sides their space and privacy.”

The teenager’s mother, Kim Zolciak, also released a statement to Page Six, categorically denying the allegations against her son.

“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling. He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” her statement, obtained last Friday, read in part.

“We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”
