Jacob Tierney is in throws of writing the upcoming second season of Heated Rivalry.

While those who’ve read the books will know what to expect in the coming episodes, the show’s creator recently dished on what will be different for season two.

“Season two will be different because they are now in a relationship,” he told Sky TV. “And so I think what will be interesting is kind of navigating the public versus the private of that relationship and navigating what happens after? Like, you’re an adult. You’re two adults in a relationship that is not an easy navigation. And so what does that look like?”

“I’m very excited to do it. The boys are excited, I’m excited. I think it’s going to be really fun to see what else we can unearth that feels real, sexy, funny and truthful,” Jacob added. I’m just going to do what I did in the first place and trust myself, and trust the source material, and trust in Rachel [Reid] and her creativity, and trust in my instincts towards channeling it, because it worked the first time.”

“I’m just going to try to shut out the noise, and, while I appreciate the many suggestions I get, from many people, I’m just like… I’m just kind of back to work,” he concluded.

It was just announced that Sky TV will be the home of Heated Rivalry season two in the UK, as well as Hudson Williams‘ other upcoming TV series Yaga, which also hails from the same streamer, Crave, that HR debuted on in Canada.
