Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow recently sat down together for Variety’s Actors on Actors series. The two actresses reminisced about their time on Friends. During the conversation, they looked back at some of the show’s most memorable episodes and celebrity guest appearances.

While discussing the popular Thanksgiving episodes, Aniston asked Kudrow if those were among her favorites. Kudrow agreed and specifically recalled Brad Pitt’s appearance on the sitcom. Kudrow said, “Yes. Those were great, the Thanksgiving episodes. When Brad was on, that was hilarious.”

Aniston agreed and said, “I know. How funny. The movie stars that came on Friends. Brad, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts. Isabella Rossellini. We had so many — Sean Penn. They were always nervous. Remember?… I was so surprised by that.”

Pitt appeared in Season 8 Episode 9, titled “The One with the Rumor,” as Will Colbert. He strongly disliked Rachel Green, and alongside Ross, he helped create the “I Hate Rachel Green Club.” He even spread a major rumor about her. It became one of the show’s most memorable episodes.

At the time of the cameo, Pitt and Aniston were still married. The couple tied the knot in 2000. They were one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples. But the duo separated in 2005. Brad later went on to date Angelina Jolie following their split, while Aniston later married Justin Theroux. However, both couples ended up parting ways.

Now, years later, Aniston has recently been linked to wellness coach Jim Curtis. Pitt is said to be in a relationship with Ines de Ramon. Aniston’s comments offered fans a rare look back at their time during the height of Friends’ popularity.
