Usually when divorce battles end, the exes leave the courtroom to lick their wounds and see what’s left in their bank account.

But for Silvio Scaglia, the end of the wrangling over what belongs to him and what belongs to now-ex wife Julia Haart is far from the end of his legal woes — after a judge demanded he be jailed for actions he allegedly took during the divorce proceedings.

Last week, we reported that the Italian businessman and his former wife and business partner had ended their four-year $90 million dollar split, with Haart walking away with Elite, the famed modeling agency they ran together during their brief marriage.

Now, according to court papers obtained by Page Six, New York judge Jeffrey Pearlman has issued a no-bail bench warrant for Scaglia’s arrest, demanding he be immediately jailed for 14 days.

Court documents claim that Scaglia broke a law that says spouses aren’t allowed to move shared assets once a divorce has officially begun by allegedly transferring parts of the firm — which represents Kendall Jenner, Adriana Lima and more — without Haart’s permission.

 The judge said in the papers Scaglia had “siphon[ed]” the onetime couple’s assets as well. As we previously reported, Pearlman had found that the businessman had bought Bentleys, Porsches and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels with company funds.  

And Pearlman still wants Scaglia to face the music for allegedly ignoring various court orders during the hearings. (Page Six reported in 2024 that the court ordered him to be jailed for 20 days for ignoring a court order to pay Haart $300,000).

The businessman appears to be living in his native Italy, and has yet to submit to US authorities for any of the alleged crimes.

Court papers, dated Sept. 22, show that the judge found Scaglia in both civil and criminal contempt, saying he knowingly and willfully violated court orders.

Scaglia, who bought Elite in 2011, appointed fashion designer Haart, who is also the star of Netflix reality show “My Unorthodox Life,” as the CEO of the prestigious agency in March 2019, and they married later that year.

Their split in 2022 sparked a bitter series of lawsuits and countersuits over control of Elite and its affiliated companies, with Scaglia accusing Haart of misappropriating funds.

Now, Haart has been awarded 100% of Elite World Group and their $57 million Tribeca apartment after the court found that Scaglia had already transferred the value of his share of the company “and then some” to himself in the form of cash, sports cars and more. Scaglia’s attorneys have previously denied the allegations.

Scaglia and his representatives didn’t respond to our requests for comment.
