Cynthia Erivo just announced some very exciting news!

On Thursday night (October 15), the 39-year-old Tony-winning actress performed her one-night-only concert Let Me Sing to You at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

During the show, she announced Kylie Minogue, Jonathan Groff, and Catherine Tate will be joining her in the Warner Bros./Locksmith animated musical comedy movie Bad Fairies.

Kylie will voice Chowder the Cat Witch, Jonathan will voice Robin Goodfellow, and Catherine will voice the Fairy Godmother. It has already been announced that Cynthia will be leading the movie as Jayne Staplegun.

After teasing the orchestral arrangement of her character Jayne’s song “Hard to Believe,” Cynthia walked out in the audience and hugged Kylie.

“I’m so excited to be part of Bad Fairies, alongside the incredible Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Groff and such a brilliant cast of voices,” Kylie shared in a statement, per Deadline. “And getting to play both a cat and a witch? It’s a little bit magical, a little bit mischievous and a whole lot of fun.”

Directed by Megan Nicole Dong and co-directed by Olivier Staphylas, Bad Fairies is an original musical comedy “set in contemporary London that follows a delightfully subversive gang of fairies as they shake up their magical world.”

Deborah Frances-White penned the script, with songs by Tony-winning duo Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss and a score and contribution to songs by Isabella “Machine” Summers, who you may know from Florence + The Machine.

Previously announced voice cast members include Serrana Su-Ling Bliss as Fei Chang, James Acaster as Stickers, Dee Bradley Baker as Groundbeef, and Ncuti Gatwa as Butterwort.

Bad Fairies is slated to release in theaters on May 21, 2027.
