The man who went viral for picking at a salad, seemingly unbothered, amid the chaos at the 2026 White House Correspondents’ Dinner has been identified.

If you didn’t already seen, a man went viral online after footage from the panicked event revealed an older gentleman staying seated at his table, and eventually eating his salad as others dove under tables and ran out of the building due to a shooter.

Michael Glantz is the man who is in the videos, an agent at Creative Artists Agency, who reps Wolf Blitzer among other clients.

He told TMZ on Sunday (April 26) a day after the dinner that’s he’s glad people found some lighthearted enjoyment to come out of an otherwise “horrific moment.”

He added that he felt safe with all of the officers on the promises, and instead sat watching it all go down.

“Not every day you see something like that go down,” he added, noting that he was only concerned about his client Wolf who got knocked down in the pandemonium.

He added that he thinks it’s “silly” he’s going viral for eating his salad, and doesn’t mind it.
