Mel C is opening up about a moment that nearly got her ousted from her legendary girl group.

The 52-year-old Spice Girls superstar got candid in an interview on The Louis Theroux podcast.

During the conversation, she spoke about a moment involving bandmate Victoria Beckham at the 1996 BRITs, five months prior to the release of “Wannabe.”

“Nobody in the public knew us, but in the industry people had started talking. And we were there, and we were sitting on a table with Lenny Kravitz, which obviously, for these young girls, it was this amazing night,” she recalled.

She went on to say that “everyone was having fun” until they got into an argument.

“We were just leaving, we were going to find our car, and whatever the situation was, I just turned around and go, ‘Victoria, f??? off.’ I go home, go to bed, I wake up the next morning, and I was in a lot of trouble.”

While she didn’t reveal why she said that, Mel C confirmed Mel B and Geri Halliwell said they were “disgusted” with her behavior, and she was reprimanded by their manager.

“I was told in no uncertain terms that if anything ever happened like that again, I would be gone. That completely freaked me out…I went into terror because I thought I was gonna lose everything. Those dreams as a child, which now were a possibility, I might have f???ed it all up. And I thought it was very trivial as well,” she recalled. Listen above.
