Hallmark is debuting another new Fall Into Love movie tonight!

Much About Love reunites Ashley Williams and Niall Matter after their 2020 Hallmark movie Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater. It’s a modern retelling of Shakespeare‘s Much Ado About Nothing, set around a Shakespeare festival.

Ashley also developed, co-wrote and executive produced the movie!

What is Much About Love about?

Here’s the official Hallmark description.

“A TV director returns to her theater roots for a Shakespeare festival and runs into an old flame, rekindling a merry war of wits in this modern retelling of Much Ado About Nothing.”

Ashley plays TV director Bea Bishop and Niall stars as Benny Gersten, her former flame and stage partner. The characters are modern counterparts to Shakespeare’s Beatrice and Benedick. Bea and Benny previously acted together in Romeo and Juliet and reunite while preparing another Shakespeare production.

Who stars in Much About Love?

Ashley Williams is known for playing Victoria on How I Met Your Mother. Her other credits include Good Morning, Miami, The Jim Gaffigan Show, The Rookie, and Something Borrowed. On Hallmark, she’s starred in Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater, Falling Together, Jingle Bell Run, and the Sister Swap movies.

She developed this movie with her husband Neal Dodson and serves as co-writer and executive producer. Her character was also partially inspired by theater director Peggy Shannon.

Niall Matter is known for his roles in Eureka and Primeval: New World. He’s a longtime Hallmark leading man whose credits also include the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Finding Father Christmas, Holiday Hotline, and We Met in December.

The supporting cast includes Lindura, Johnathan Sousa, Jennifer Dale, Moni Ogunsuyi, Cody Ray Thompson, Paul Braunstein, Gabriel Burrafato, and Madeline Elliott Kennedy.

The film premieres on Saturday, August 29 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel. It will begin streaming on Sunday, August 30 on Hallmark+.

The movie was filmed in London, Ontario, Canada, and surrounding areas. It reportedly filmed under the working title Nothing But Love from April 27 through May 15, 2026.
