PROTECT YOUR DNA WITH QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY
Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by Adpathway[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I watched Wayne Goss on Instagram the other day talking about his skin care sandwich method. I listened up because he also loves Tursian and as I’m still using it I thought I could slightly adapt the method more to my suiting although you can do this with any moisturiser – and choose your filling. However, I’m a bit blown away by Muji Booster Serum so that’s my filling of choice.

The premise is that you apply a light layer of moisturiser, wait ten minutes, add your filling, wait again and then add a further layer of moisturiser. Obviously, this is best done with your evening routine (I’m lazy and keep my creams downstairs by the sofa so I can do it in front of the TV) but there is such a difference because by layering, you’re trapping extra moisture – it has no escape! The main and most noticeable difference is softer skin. A booster serum is an ideal filling – Wayne uses a retinol – but think niacinamide, azelaic acid or Victoria Health’s Dose Ergothioneine serum (HERE).

I’ve also used the Muji Booster Serum on its own and before foundation and it’s exactly the kind of texture I like to use on my skin. It’s first ingredient is fermented rice bran (excellent for the skin’s microbiome), followed by glycerin (a humectant that draws moisture to the face), which gives such a smooth feeling to your complexion. It’s a concentrated formula so you won’t need much at all and as it’s built to support absorption of hydrating ingredients, no wonder it’s such a brilliant filler. I’m not one for adding extra steps into skin care routines but the booster serum feels like such a discovery that I’m sold this time. I should also mention the Muji Booster Essence which would form part of your routine if you were going all in on the Muji regime. You could use this the Korean way by pulling apart layers of a cotton pad and soaking them in essence to lay onto your face for a few minutes. Let it soak up and remove the cotton pads before applying moisturiser or the next part of your routine. I took a little sample to a meeting with my friend Simon and he immediately went to the Muji store and bought the full size – and he is fussy! Muji Booster Essence is £19.99 HERE.
