Nick Jonas is offering some unique marriage advice.

The 33-year-old singer chatted with BBC Radio 1 host Matt Edmondson this week about an addition to the bathroom that he considers essential: the squatty potty.

Nick admitted to having a “poop stool” in his bathroom, which is a specialized stool designed for the user to prop up their feet while on the toilet to make bowel movements easier.

Matt said that he’s got one but it hasn’t gone over well with his wife.

“Not to give you marriage advice here, you should write a letter explaining why it’s so important to you to have this,” the “Gut Punch” singer explained. “And even though it gets in the way, it shouldn’t get in the way of your relationship. That’s my unsolicited marriage advice for you today.”
