Charli XCX may have declared that Brat summer is officially over, nearly one year after it began, but Nicole Kidman appears to be picking up the torch and keeping it going—at least if her Brat-adjacent ponytail is any indication!

The Oscar winner was in attendance for the final stop of the U.S. leg of the Brat tour, appearing at the May 1 show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. True to form, she dressed for the occasion in a sleek black tank top, black Levi's jeans, sunglasses, and a high and tight ponytail. Her hair was blown out straight, then gathered and cinched at the crown of her head. Instead of an ultra-sleek ponytail, however, there was some softness to Kidman's hairstyle; two small pieces were pulled out near the front on either side of her face, and there was just a subtle touch of curl at the ends of the pony. Think of her ponytail as an ode to the more vulnerable and introspective tracks on Brat, like “Everything is Romantic” and “I Think About it All the Time”—a party girl for sure, but one with a sweet, delicate heart.

“Great night NYC,” Kidman wrote on Instagram Stories alongside a snapshot of her Brat look, tagging Charli and adding a brat-green apple for good measure. We can just see this swingy pony swishing around in the VIP section of the show, though Kidman (unfortunately) didn't share any concert footage with her followers. Did she have a smudgy, smoky eye underneath those shades? We hope so!
