Paige Price has come to the defense of Frankie Muniz after their divorce announcement sparked backlash. The actor had shared a video of them dancing together, which he later deleted after facing criticism.

Frankie Muniz announces divorce from wife Paige Price, then deletes the post

Frankie Muniz and Paige Price Muniz announced their divorce after 10 years of marriage in a social media post on Wednesday, July 1. The post featured a short video of Muniz dancing with his wife, with the caption, “Who says you can’t stay best friends with your baby momma?” However, after the clip sparked backlash from fans, the actor deleted the video.

The former couple then made a separate joint post on Instagram with a family photo with their son. They added a heartfelt caption, announcing the divorce. “Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage,” Muniz wrote.

Price defends Muniz over deleting divorce video

Following the backlash, Paige Price defended the deleted video in a comment under Muniz’s new post. “Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you,” she wrote.

Price added, “This world is so f—ed… divorce is bad, sure — it’s not like we’re excited about it… but we’re two adults who know how to be on the same team,” she continued. “I can’t believe people could scrutinize that.”

In a reply to the comment, one user asked why Price shared the remark publicly. Price responded, “I did say it to his face. 1000 times.” She added, “And I’ll say it through text just as much because I genuinely care. That’s the point.”

Additionally, Price posted an Instagram story, seemingly alluding to the public reaction to the deleted video.
