We finally have a new update on the future of The Real Housewives of Miami.

The Bravo series’ seventh season ended last fall, and there has been no word on an eight season renewal. While this isn’t unusual as the network typically quietly renews shows, the cast has not been seen filming.

Now, it’s being revealed that RHOM is being put on pause for a second time, according to Variety.

The publication reports that the network’s decision comes as it is the least-watched show among the Real Housewives franchise.

In addition, many cast members were believed to be in jeopardy of not returning to the show amid rough seasons between each other.

This marks the second time Real Housewives of Miami has been put on pause. Previously, the show went off the air in late 2013 after just three seasons, before being revived seven years later.

RHOM then went on for four more seasons, with the first two debuted on Peacock, and the latter two debuting on Bravo.

The most recent season starred OGs Alexia Nepola and Larsa Pippen, as well as Lisa Hochstein, who joined in season two, plus Guerdy Abraira and Julia Lemigova, who joined in season four. Stephanie Shojaee joined the cast in season seven as a new housewife.

OGs Adriana de Moura and Marysol Patton served as friends of, alongside Kiki Barth.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is also currently on pause as they work out casting decisions, as their last season was also very tumultuous among the ladies.
