Fans can expect a lighter version of Ahsoka Tano in Season 2
Rosario Dawson has hinted at a new transformation for her character, Ahsoka Tano, in the upcoming season of Ahsoka. Speaking at Comic-Con Scotland, the actress revealed that viewers can expect to see a more relaxed and lighter version of the character.
Dawson said, “She had a more of a strong gravitas at the beginning, and she was a little bit more unflappable. And I’m liking that she’s relaxing, she’s kind of getting back into her joy.” She added that her time with Anakin helped Ahsoka confront old wounds. Dawson explained, “I think those moments with Hayden [Christensen] and Anakin were so important for her to heal something so she could be more present.” (via SFF Gazette)
The actress further suggested that Season 2 will explore Ahsoka’s ability to engage more with the community around her. She said, “And that’s what I’m really enjoying. I think we get to explore that a lot more in the second season. I’m really glad that we get to add more joy into her life and see her relax a little bit more and work in community a little bit more than she has.”
As of now, the specific details of the second season remain unknown.
The first season of Ahsoka ended on a cliffhanger. Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren were left stranded on Peridea. However, despite the uncertain circumstances, Ahsoka and Sabine are watched over by the Force Ghost of Anakin Skywalker.
