Shane Gillis‘ hit Netflix comedy show just locked in a return date, and fans won’t have to wait much longer. The beloved workplace series confirmed its next season premiere with a timeline that caught viewers off guard.

Tires Season 3 arrives next month on Netflix

Gillis’ hit workplace comedy Tires returns to Netflix for its third season on August 13, 2026, What’s on Netflix reported. The raunchy sitcom follows the staff of a struggling auto repair chain in Pennsylvania.

Gillis, Steve Gerben, and John McKeever co-created the series together. Gillis also serves as executive producer and stars as Shane Jacobs, an obnoxious employee. He constantly torments his cousin Will, played by Gerben, who manages the family business.

The show quickly became a viewer favorite after its May 2024 debut. The first season reached No. 2 on Netflix’s Television Top 10 in the first five days. It also garnered more than four million views in its opening days alone (via Men’s Journal).

Netflix renewed the series for a third season on July 2, 2025. Less than a month had passed since Season 2 premiered on June 5, 2025. The second season reportedly matched the first by again reaching No. 2 on Netflix’s TV chart.

Season 2 introduced Thomas Haden Church as Phil Jacobs, Shane’s wealthy but immature father. Vince Vaughn, Jon Lovitz, and Ron White also appeared as guest stars. Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias round out the core cast.

The series holds an 89% Popcornmeter rating on Rotten Tomatoes from audience reviews. Critics offered more mixed assessments, with a 58% average score. Brian Tallerico of RogerEbert.com noted he felt “refreshed by a comedy that doesn’t aspire to do much more than make people laugh.”

Rough House’s Brandon James serves as an executive producer alongside the co-creators. AGI Entertainment Media & Management’s Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick, and Becky Astphan also have been credited as executive producers on the series.
