Melania Trump‘s controversial documentary hits theaters this weekend, but one country has now decided to not show the film in theaters locally.

South Africa will no longer have a theatrical release for Melania. By the way, the documentary was directed by controversial filmmaker Brett Ratner, who was accused of sexual assault and misconduct by multiple famous actresses.

“Based on recent developments, we’ve taken the decision to not go ahead with a theatrical release in territory,” Filmfinity’s head of sales and marketing Thobashan Govindarajulu said. They added the decision was not influenced by anyone else, and it was “our decision.” They did not specify what these “recent developments” were.
