A new crime-action thriller featuring the 2023 Supergirl star is heading to Paramount+. This digital debut will give the movie a wider audience after its limited theatrical release in early 2026.

When is the Paramount+ streaming release date for the Supergirl star’s new action movie?

Wardriver can be streamed on Paramount+ from July 8, 2026, onwards. The movie made its theatrical debut this year on March 14 at the Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival, followed by a limited theatrical release on March 20.

It stars Dane DeHaan as Cole, Sasha Calle as Sarah, and Mamoudou Athie as Oscar. DeHaan is best known for his performance in The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), Kill Your Darlings (2013), and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). Calle is best known as Supergirl from The Flash (2023), The Rip (2026), and The Exorcist (2027), while Athie is credited for his roles in The Drama (2026), Elemental (2023), and the series Archive 81.

The movie follows Cole, a hacker who is lured into a million-dollar cyberheist, which turns into a deadly cat-and-mouse game where every line of code could be his last. It’s set in a tech-noir setting involving action scenes and a production collaboration among Highland Film Group, Redline Entertainment, and Star Thrower Entertainment. It has a total run-time of 93 minutes.

The movie is directed by Rebecca Thomas, who has also worked on independent films. Her debut film was Electrik Children, which was released in 2012 at the Berlin International Film Festival. She is also credited for directing episodes of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things.

Wardriver is written by Daniel Casey, known for writing the 2018 film Kin and the 2021 instalment of the Fast and Furious movie series, F9. Casey also served as the producer of the movie alongside Dane DeHaan, Arianne Raser, Delphine Perrier, Tim White, Trevor White, and David M. Wulf.
