Nashville made its television debut on October 10, 2012, and ran for six seasons before ending on July 26, 2018. The series centers on Rayna Jaymes, who has been one of country music’s biggest stars for two decades, but her status begins to change as she struggles to maintain her success. With her latest record failing to generate strong sales, Rayna faces pressure from her label to find a way to remain relevant. 

Her situation becomes more complicated when she is paired with Juliette Barnes, a younger singer with a troubled past who is determined to rise to the top and take Rayna’s place. The two are required to tour together, bringing their competing ambitions into direct conflict. The series also explores the lives of other figures in Nashville’s music world.
