Netflix subscribers have only a limited time left to watch Sam Raimi‘s trilogy, which featured Bruce Campbell in different cameo roles. Starring Tobey Maguire, the trilogy earned more than $2.5 billion worldwide. All three films are scheduled to leave the streaming platform next month.

Spider-Man 1, 2, and 3 are leaving Netflix next month

Netflix subscribers have less than a month to watch Bruce Campbell’s $2.5 billion Spider-Man trilogy. According to What’s on Netflix, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, and Spider-Man 3 will exit the platform on August 6, 2026.

Directed by Sam Raimi from a screenplay by David Koepp, Spider-Man was released in the United States on May 3, 2002, becoming the first installment in Raimi’s trilogy. The film centers on Peter Parker, a socially awkward high school student whose life changes after a radioactive spider bites him during a school visit to a laboratory.

As Peter develops extraordinary powers, he embraces the role of Spider-Man while facing Norman Osborn, whose experiment transforms him into the Green Goblin. Bruce Campbell appears in the film as the wrestling ring announcer during Peter’s first public match. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a 90 percent critics’ score based on 278 reviews.

Spider-Man 2, directed by Raimi and written by Alvin Sargent, premiered on June 30, 2004. The sequel centers on Peter as he struggles with fading powers and growing self-doubt while balancing his responsibilities as Spider-Man.

Meanwhile, Dr. Otto Octavius becomes Doctor Octopus after a failed fusion experiment, blaming Spider-Man for the tragedy and seeking revenge. Campbell returns in a cameo as a theater usher. The film earned a 93 percent critics’ score from 276 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

Raimi concluded the trilogy with Spider-Man 3, which opened in theaters on May 4, 2007. Peter and Mary Jane appear to have finally found stability in their relationship, until an alien symbiote bonds with Spider-Man, increasing his abilities while unleashing a darker side of his personality.

As Peter struggles to free himself from the suit’s influence, he must also confront Sandman and Venom. Campbell’s final cameo sees him portray a French maître d’. The film holds a 62 percent critics’ score based on 261 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

Across the trilogy, Tobey Maguire headlines the cast as Peter Parker/Spider-Man alongside Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson.
