Lola Young accidentally dropped an F-bomb while accepting the award for Best Pop Solo Performance for “Messy” at the 2026 Grammys on Sunday night (February 1) in Los Angeles.

“I don’t know what to say, thank you so much! F–king – sorry, sorry…I’m very, very grateful for this!” the 25-year-old singer blurted out, clearly surprised that she had won.

Lola Young was also nominated for Best New Artist during the ceremony.

Back in September, she announced that she was going away for “the foreseeable future” and canceled all upcoming plans following a scary incident at a music festival, where she passed out mid-set on stage. She shared an update in December.
