Does Aemond die in House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 7?

House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 7, titled “The Dragon in Winter,” featured Alicent giving Aemon a spiced wine, which was later learned to have been poisonous, which eventually led to his collapse. While Aemond seems to be dead, that might not be the case, as he returns in Episode 8’s trailer. This suggests that Alys might have saved him.

During the dinner conversation, Alys clearly warned Aemond that Alicent is here to harm him. However, Aemond debunked her concerns and asked her to keep her dark thoughts to herself. Later, Alicent heads to Aemond’s chamber after picking up a dagger from Ser Adrian’s body. She offers him spiced wine while they talk about Alys. She later asks him who he trusts.
