We’re taking a look back at Minka Kelly‘s love life!

Over the years, the 46-year-old Friday Night Lights actress has dated some very famous men, including actors, musicians, and athletes.

Now that season two of her hit Netflix series Ransom Canyon, which she stars in alongside Josh Duhamel, has been released, viewers may be curious to know if Minka is dating anyone.

We’ve now put together her entire dating history and figured out the timelines!

Brian White

Minka dated Men of a Certain Age and Scandal actor Brian White from 2003 to 2004.

Donald Faison

Minka started dating Scrubs actor Donald Faison in 2005 following his divorce from ex-wife Lisa Askey. The two dated for nearly two years before calling it quits.

Taylor Kitsch

Back in 2018, Taylor Kitsch confirmed that he and Minka dated while they filmed Friday Night Lights, which ran for five season from 2006 until 2011. Their characters also dated on the show.

In her new memoir Tell Me Everything, there’s a whole chapter titled “Cancer” where Minka goes into detail about her relationship with Taylor.

Minka wrote that she and Taylor broke up and got back together “more times than [she] [could] count” during their time on set.

She wrote, “Life became very difficult both on and off set whenever we broke up. We were young and had very few tools to handle our emotions and personal grievances. On the days we had to work together and were broken up, he didn’t want to be in the hair and makeup trailer at the same time I was.”

“We couldn’t ride in the van together from base camp to set for the same reason,” she added. “On those days, the tension on set was high and everyone felt the awkwardness.”

Minka credits the end of their relationship them being “very young and very sensitive.”

She also revealed the lesson she learned from their relationship: “Vulnerability begets connection, as evidenced by the outcome of both our coping mechanisms. My tough-guy approach only left me alone. If you behave as if you need no one, if no one around you knows any better, most certainly, no one will, in fact, be there.”

Chris Evans

Minka started dating Chris Evans in 2007, but broke up amicably due to their busy schedules. The two rekindled their romance back in 2012 before splitting for a second time.

They sparked romance rumors again after they spotted together over Labor Day weekend in 2015.

John Mayer

Minka and John Mayer first sparked dating rumors in the fall of the 2007 and dated until early 2008.

Derek Jeter

Minka first started dating Derek Jeter in 2008 and the two were together until 2011. In 2012, the two sparked reconciliation rumors when they were spotted vacationing in Paris.

Minka quietly dated How I Met Your Mother actor Josh Radnor from December 2016 to March 2017.

Jesse Williams

Minka and Jesse Williams went public with their relationship in the summer of 2017, several months after he announced his split from ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee. Minka later slammed rumors that she broke up Jesse and Aryn‘s marriage.

In late December 2022, Minka and Dan seemingly confirmed their relationship when they were spotted kissing during a day out in L.A.

In an interview from July 2024, Dan revealed that he and Minka were introduced by a mutual friend, but didn’t get to meet in-person for several weeks because she was working in the UK.
