Viewers are curious to know the reason behind Amanda Clark-Stoner leaving The Traitors Season 1. Earlier, there were several rumors online, claiming that she might have been pregnant. While other speculations subtly teased her willingly departing the show due to personal and professional reasons. She was a smart player, whose gameplay was praised by many, however, her early exit left many disappointed and sparked a range of rumors. Nevertheless, Stoner has already set the record straight on her abrupt exit from The Traitors.

Stone left The Traitors after testing positive for COVID-19.

Stoner took to her Instagram handle, sharing a now-deleted reel, explaining why she was suddenly removed from the reality show. She greeted fans saying  “It’s your favorite disappearing faithful Amanda here.” 

Debunking all the speculations around her departure, she revealed that despite taking COVID precautions, she, unfortunately, tested positive. Before reaching Scotland, where the series is filmed, she took all necessary care, like wearing an N-95 mask on flights, and got quarantined as well. Nevertheless, the odds weren’t in her favor—after learning about the test, she described the feeling as “like the rug got pulled out from underneath me.” Heartbroken, she regretted having lost such a wonderful opportunity to feature in the series.

She didn’t let the situation dishearten her and channeled her positive side while being proud of her gameplay as a Faithful. She was happy that none of the traitors was able to catch and murder her during her time in the game.

Moreover, she also debunked a range of rumors, concerning her pregnancy and departure. She also clarified, “Your girl is not a quitter. I could’ve broken both my legs, and I would have been hobbling around that castle trying to figure out who the traitors were. In addition, she believed she had unfinished business in the game, subtly hinting at coming back for revenge. Her statement had opened doors for her potential return sometime in the future. However, for now, nothing is confirmed.
