What Is the Final Season of Yellowjackets About?

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, the series follows a high school girls soccer team whose plane crashes in the remote northern wilderness.

The story moves between their struggle to survive as teenagers and their lives nearly 25 years later. Returning to civilization doesn’t mean they’ve left everything behind.

The new teaser puts their homecoming at the center of the final season, with the survivors still haunted by what it took to get out alive.

Earlier this week, the show’s promotional campaign included a fictional MTV News report about their rescue. It also featured an edited Alanis Morissette MTV Unplugged performance acknowledging the team.
