Melrose Place alum Andrew Shue, 59, is engaged to immigration attorney Marilee Fiebig, 49!

Their romance actually made headlines because of who they both were previously married to. If you don’t know, Andrew was formerly married to Good Morning America‘s Amy Robach, and Marilee is the ex wife of GMA‘s T.J. Holmes.

Andrew and Marilee were thrust into headlines when it was discovered that Amy and T.J. had been carrying on a secret relationship. At the time, the public thought they were still married to other people. Marilee released a statement about her ex’s “lack of discretion” and sources also revealed when Amy and T.J. actually started dating.

By 2023, in a heartwarming twist, it was being reported that Marilee and Andrew had connected and were dating.

After Dating for 3 Years, The Couple Got Engaged Earlier This Year

Andrew confirmed to People, “I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending.”

“I had to grow through a lot of pain and a lot of struggle and a lot of humility,” Andrew added. “I think the magic of love is when you go from a need to giving.”

He continued, “You don’t know how you meet the person who’s right for you. It just happened. And you can say how it’s just this kind of freak luck that this is how you ended up getting to know that person in a way that would allow you to reveal yourself and for her to reveal herself. And this just happened to be a circumstance that allowed for that. I don’t think there was anything other than this just happened to be our way of getting to know each other and being able to share ourselves with each other in a time where we both needed a friend.”
