Hannah Waddingham did not hold back when filming the action and fight sequences for her new Prime Video television show Ride or Die.

The 51-year-old Emmy-winning actress best known for starring in Ted Lasso was determined to hold her own on set.

“Don’t even get me started,” she admitted in a new interview with People. “It was incredibly demanding on my body.”

Hannah admitted that she’d spend “a week learning the choreography of a fight sequence, perform it,” only to leave herself “mangled” and later think, “What are you doing? You’re 51, woman!”

Even though she might have gotten a little bit up and taken home her fair share of bruises, the Game of Thrones alum revealed there was one scene in particular she was super proud of.

It was the scene where she gets into a fight in the bathroom while wearing a gold dress and apparently she was so invested in the scene she impressed her stunt double.

“I was going at it all day, and when my stunt double went to do the wide shot, the director said, ‘Can we just raise the energy a bit? Hannah was literally biting the guy’s hand,'” she recalled.

Hannah continued, “My stunt double laughed and said she’d never been asked to match the actor’s energy before.”

That being said, she was still effusive in her praise for the stunt professionals.

“I admire stunt performers so deeply. They’re extraordinary people, incredibly kind, protective and always looking out for us,” she said.

Octavia Spencer agreed and revealed she actually worked with three stuntwomen on the show!

“My stuntwoman actually turned into three stuntwomen. I couldn’t have done it without them,” Octavia shared. “There were certain things I didn’t do, but I think you’d have a hard time figuring out which ones. Even I watched some of it and thought, ‘Wow, I looked really good there.’ Then I realized it wasn’t me.”
