Reba McEntire is weighing in on her longtime friend and former stepdaughter-in-law Kelly Clarkson‘s feud with toy store Art of Play.

If you recall, Kelly called out the shop on Twitter/X earlier this month for alleged poor customer service.

While promoting the upcoming third season of her NBC comedy Happy’s Place, Reba revealed she had just learned about the drama, and it was a co-star who told her about it!

When asked if she had been keeping up with the situation, Reba told E! News, “No, I haven’t. I just heard about it in the makeup trailer a while ago.”

Her other longtime friend and co-star, Melissa Peterman, added that she was the one who told Reba about it.

“Oh, I knew about it. I think I was the one that told you because again, we’ve had such long busy days. And I said it must be really out there if I heard about it because I’ve been not watching a ton of stuff and I’ve been working so much,” Melissa said.

Reba agreed that it was, in fact, Melissa who told her about it.

If you didn’t know, Reba and Kelly have known each other for over twenty years. They were also related through marriage at one point when Kelly was married to her late ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, while Reba was married to his father, Narvel Blackstock.
