Tyne Daly is returning to the stage in a highly anticipated new production of the classic musical Brigadoon, set for the Pasadena Playhouse in Los Angeles.

The Tony Award-winning actress was set to star on Broadway in early 2024 in a revival of the acclaimed play Doubt, but had to drop out due to health issues.

Now, Tyne will be back on stage, playing Widow Lundie (previously Mr. Lundie), in the new adaptation of Brigadoon.

The production will be performed at the Pasadena Playhouse from May 13 to June 14. The musical, written by Lerner & Loewe, will have a new book by Alexandra Silber and will be directed and choreographed by Katie Spelman, who made her Broadway choreographic debut with The Notebook.

Tony Award nominee Max von Essen will star as Tommy Albridge with fellow Broadway actors Betsy Morgan as Fiona MacLaren, Happy Anderson as Jeff Douglas, and Daniel Yearwood as Charlie Dalrymple.

In the classic show, two American travelers lose their way in the Scottish Highlands and stumble upon Brigadoon — a mysterious village that appears for just one day every hundred years.
